Commercial Loan Portfolio Our commercial loan portfolio is comprised of commercial loans, commercial real estate loans, real estate construction loans and land development loans. Our commercial loan portfolio is well diversified across business lines and has no concentration in any one industry. The commercial loan portfolio of $8.46 billion at December 31, 2017 included 144 loan relationships of $5.0 million or greater. These 144 loan relationships totaled $2.53 billion, which represented 30.0%of the commercial loan portfolio at December 31, 2017 and included 108 loan relationships that had outstanding balances of $10.0 million or higher, totaling $2.24 billion, or 26.5% of the commercial loan portfolio, at that date.
