On April 17, 2020, FirstEnergy Corp. announced that its Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held in a virtual meeting webcast format. Due to the public health impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and to protect the health and safety of its shareholders, employees and other stakeholders during the coronavirus pandemic, FirstEnergy will not hold an in-person meeting. Shareholders entitled to attend the live virtual meeting must pre-register by 2 p.m. EDT on May 18, 2020 by following the instructions included in the Notice of Change of Location.
